All six incumbent board members whose term expired were elected for an additional three year term on November 1st. They were, in no particular order: Colleen Smith, Don Wolf, Don Howard, Dan Huffman, Tim Wood and Tom Wright.
The six were sworn into office by Delaware County Commissioner Tommy Thompson. Their terms will begin November 15, 2011 and expire November 15, 2014. The Agricultural Society Members voted them into office.
Registration for membership for the 2012 yr. is available at the Delaware County Fair Office starting December 1, 2011. The office hours are 9 a.m. -5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Members must be residents of Delaware County, must be 16 or older, and purchase the membership for $2. Only Delaware County residences are eligible to vote. The Delaware County Ag Society has 18 members. Each member is elected to a 3 yr. term. Don Howard was elected President for the coming year.
