Cardmaster Hanover and Fully Loaded
Score Major Victories At Yonkers and Balmoral Park

Cardmaster Hanover and Fully Loaded scored major victories as the Road To
the Little Brown Jug winds its way to Delaware, Ohio and the 56th renewal of
the Classic three-year-old pace on Thursday, September 20. The Delaware Grand
Circuit meeting actually gets underway Saturday, September 15 for the first 
of six afternoons of racing.

    Fully Loaded roared past On The Attack in the stretch to win the $305.569
Art Rooney Memorial by 5 3/4 lengths in 1:51.4 Saturday at Yonkers Raceway.
The Artsplace colt, driven by Luc Ouellette for David Scharf and the Brian
Pinske Stable, has won five of his last six starts.

    At Balmoral Park in Chicago, also on Saturday, Cardmaster Hanover
exploded in the stretch to win the $250,000 American-National over Fifty
Percent and Eternal Optimist. The son of Cam's Card Shark also picked up his
first victory of 2001 in a lifetime best 1:50.2. Sam Widger drove for the 
Samson Street  Stables,  J.D. Fielding and Roger Pinske. 

    At Vernon Downs, Robert Rosenheim's Quality Of Life set  a track record
of 1:51.1 in winning Saturday's Open Pace. Peter Blood drove the
three-year-old  son of Life Sign.
