Magical Mike Pace Cancelled

Delaware, Ohio racing officials have cancelled the Magical Mike
Invitational Pace scheduled for Thursday, September 20 because of conflicts
with other similar events.
"We want to maintain the quality of the Magical Mike and we felt
that
with the conflicts this year that would be impossible," said Tom Thomson,
director of racing."We will work with Tom Walsh and the Magical Mike
syndicate to create a bigger and better race for 2002. We want to have the
best horses in North America compete in this race."
The expanded Delaware, Ohio Grand Circuit begins Saturday
afternoon
September 15 and continues through "Jug Day" Thursday, September 20.
