Washington, PA--Red River Hanover, Kilowatt, Rounder and Yankee Sensation won
divisions of Saturday's PA Sires Stakes at The Meadows.
All four of these colts are eligible to the $550,000-est. Little Brown Jug
scheduled for Thursday afternoon, September 19 at the Delaware, Ohio County
Fair.

Red River Hanover broke the PA Sires Stakes record set 30 minutes earlier by
Kilowatt. Trained by Shawn Robinson and driven by Dave Palone, the son of
Western Hanover defeated Jug hopefuls Dragondotcom and Up Front Western in
1:52.1 over a deteriorating racetrack. Owned by Lothlorien Racing Stables of
Canada and Jeffrey Snyder of New York, Red River Hanover paced a final half
in :55.1.

Kilowatt, another son of Western Hanover, set his short-lived stakes record
of 1:52.3 with Palone in the bike. Kilowatt is trained by Joe Holloway for
the McDonald Racing Stable, John Celii and Val d'Or Farms.
Kilowatt got the lead at the three-quarters and drew away for the victory.

Palone returned to the winner's circle a third time with Rounder for trainer
Tom Haughton and owners Mark Reibien and Jonathan and Alan Honig. Rounder's
win came in 1:55.3 over a sloppy surface. He's also by Western Hanover.

Yankee Sensation, driven by Ray Paver for the White Horse Stables, had a
"snoozer" trip to win his division in 1:57.1, again over an off track.
Yankee Sensation is another son of Hanover Shoe Farms' pacing stallion
Western Hanover.
