Jet  Laag set the half-mile track World Record of 1:49 in 1999 at
Delaware, Ohio. He was six years old at the time. That record appears in
jeopardy following Real Desire's latest triumph!

Real Desire followed up last week's Breeders Crown Championship with a
smashing 1:48.2 victory in Saturday's $400,000 U.S. Pacing Championship at
The Meadowlands.

Driver John Campbell sent the 4-year-old son of Life Sign three-wide at
the three-quarter mile mark and nobody could catch him after that. Real
Desire is the early favorite to win the $107,000 Magical Mike Pace on
September 19 at Delaware, Ohio.

The victory also gives Real Desire earnings of $2,795,324 lifetime and
was his sixth win in eight 2002 starts.
