Delaware, Ohio--An outdoor beer garden will be open to race fans during
Grand Circuit racing this fall at the Delaware, Ohio County Fair. The new
facility, which will be open each afternoon, is located behind the betting
building and west of the log cabin. The beer garden will be enclosed.
Alcoholic beverages also will be available in the grandstand and stadium
areas.
No coolers or picnic baskets will be allowed in the beer
garden,
grandstand or stadium areas. Coolers and picnic baskets WILL BE ALLOWED at
all other locations throughout the fairgrounds including parking areas, the
backstretch and along the fence which circles the racetrack. The hospitality
pavilion also will be open to the public Saturday and Sunday and food and
beer will be for sale.
Only beer will be sold in the grandstand and stadium on
Saturday, Sunday,
Monday and Tuesday. Full service bars will be in place for the racing
Wednesday and Thursday in the grandstand and stadium.
Racing begins Saturday afternoon (12-noon), September 15
and continues
through Thursday (11 a.m.), September 19. The Jugette will be raced
Wednesday
(11 a.m.) and the Little Brown Jug and Magical Mike Pace are slated for
Thursday, September 19
