Mitchell, Walters and Noble Elected Directors Of Little Brown Jug Society

Charles Mitchell, Billy Walters and Sam (Chip) Noble lll were elected directors of the Little Brown Jug Society at the annual meeting held Tuesday morning at the Little Brown jug restaurant. The trio replace the deceased Dr. Frank Todd and A.E. Knowlton. Kentucky breeder P.J. Baugh was named an honorary director of the Society.

Mitchell, from Delaware, owns a company which produces race track conditioning equipment. Walters, also from Delaware, and Noble, from Xenia, are prominent trainer-drivers. Walters trains and drives Jugette starter Bibeone.

Jug Society President Tom Thomson said Society members also discussed possible ways to increase race purses in the future at the Delaware County Fair.

Thomson (president, treasurer), Tom Wright (vice president) and Richard Gordon (secretary) were reelected by the Little Brown jug Society board of directors.
