Two-year-old trotting filly Bramsole, making her first career start, won Tuesday's $46,802 Standardbred Stake at the Delaware, Ohio County Fair. Eric Ledford kept the surprising ($16.40) Muscles Yankee filly in third place until the top of the stretch, when he sent her to the lead and a 4 1/2 lengths victory in 2:02.4. Pacific Elegance finished second over Vanila Sky.

Bramsole had only four qualifying starts at Balmoral Park prior to her maiden triumph. Eric Ledford drove for his father Sheldon who trains Bramsole for James Jesk of Lemont, IL. Bramsole's first place finish gave her career earnings of $23,401.
