Kentucky Standardbred Sales Company Again
A Major Sponsor of Little Brown Jug Festivities

Delaware, Ohio--Kentucky Standardbred Sales Company will host owners of all
entries to the 59th Little Brown Jug in the Hospitality Pavilion on Thursday,
September 23 at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. Kentucky Standardbred also
will sponsor a late closer on Jug Day, and sale company officials will present
the Jug ring to the winning driver during winner's circle ceremonies following
the race.
"This is the third year we have worked with Jug officials and it is a way for
us to show our appreciation to the folks who support our industry. What a
great way to enjoy a day of exciting harness racing at such a classy event," said
Randy Manges, general manager of Kentucky Standardbred Sales Company.
Each Jug owner will receive two Hospitality Pavilion tickets compliments of
the Kentucky Standardbred Sales Company and then each owner will be allowed to
buy additional tickets at a reduced price.
"We are very pleased with our continuing partnership with Kentucky
Standardbred Sales Company," said Fair Marketing Director Phil Terry. "What a great
way and place to entertain the owners who make possible events like the Little
Brown Jug. We want to provide the owners with an experience of a lifetime."
Kentucky Standardbred Sale Company's Sale of Champions will be held
October 2-3-4 at the Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion in Lexington, Ky. Saturday's first
session will begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday afternoon sessions will
start each day at 1 p.m.
The Ohio Selected Jug Sale will be held Monday through Wednesday, September
20-21-22, at the Eden Park Equestrian Center in Sunbury, Ohio about 20 minutes
from the Delaware Fairgrounds. Each session will begin at 7:30 p.m. "We will
also have show days on Saturday and Sunday before the sale," said Manges.
The 2004 Delaware Grand Circuit will begin Sunday afternoon, September 19 and
continue through Jug Day, September 23. The $650,000-estimated Little Brown
Jug will be the third of leg of Pacing's Triple Crown.
