Juvenile Filly Trotter Whotookwhat Sweeps Triple Crown With Win In Ohio Breeders Stake at Delaware, Ohio

Barbara and William Paul's two-year-old filly trotter Whotookwhat clinched the Ohio Triple Crown with an eight length victory in Monday's $42,783 division of the Ohio Breeders Championship at the Delaware County Fair in 2:00.3. Bill Sanders' Sand Chaser won the first OBC division in 2:03.3.

Whotookwhat also won the Ohio State Fair Stake on August 4 and on September 11 she captured the $100,000 Ohio Sires Stakes Championship, the first two legs of the Triple Crown Series

Jim Dailey, who trains and drives Whotookwhat, was involved in a four horse accident earlier on the afternoon program but was not injured.

Whotookwhat grabbed the early lead from her No. 2 post position and never trailed to notch her 9th victory in 10 career starts. The daughter of Inquirer hiked her bankroll to $127,486. Scarlet Lavec (finished second over KF Trump.

In the first division Sand Whisper took over the lead from Miss Mirandy in the final turn and withstood Autumn Lavec by a length and a quarter in 2:03.3 for her 9th win of the year. The Carry The Message filly has earned $44,029. Tye Loy trains and drives Sand Whisper.
