Delaware, OH--Meadowlands Pace and North America Cup winner Rocknroll Hanover is the solid morning line favorite for the second Little Brown Jug future wagering pool which will get underway at noon Thursday, July 21. Future wagering will be offered for a period of four days, through Sunday, July 24, at racetracks and internet sites throughout the United States and Canada.

The future wager allows fans to bet early on all three-year-olds who are eligible to the Little Brown Jug. The minimum bet is $2.00 and all future wagers are win only.

Rocknroll Hanover is 5-2 in the morning line followed by Stonebridge Regal (4-1), Village Jolt (5-1 ), Leading X Ample (6-1) and P Forty Seven (8-1). A total of 23 colts and geldings were selected by a panel of racing analysts and each colt was assigned odds based on the selection order. The rest of the three-year-olds were packaged together into one "field" wager. The field is at 9-2. Rocknroll Hanover was the 2-1 favorite in the first 2005 Little Brown Jug Future Wagering Pool following the North America Cup.

Rocknroll Hanover set a stakes and track record in winning Saturday's $1,000,000 Meadowlands Pace in 1:48.3, just three-fifths of a second off PB Bullville's 1:48 World Record set in 2000 at The Red Mile. The victory pushed Rocknroll Hanover's 2005 earnings to $1,420,975 and his lifetime bankroll to $1,951,756. The son of Western Ideal has won six of seven starts this season, finishing second last week to Stonebridge Regal in the Meadowlands Pace Elimination.

Just for the record, only Precious Bunny, in 1971, swept the North America Cup, Meadowlands Pace and Little Brown Jug. The 60th Little Brown Jug will be raced Thursday, September 22, at Delaware, OH.

Rocknroll Hanover, driven by Brian Sears and trained by Brett Pelling, won by three lengths over Village Jolt with Stonebridge Regal, another six lengths back.

Jeff Snyder of New York City and Lothlorien Equestrian Center (Phyllis Audrey Campbell of Mississauga, Ont.) purchased Rocknroll Hanover in 2003 for $190,000 from Hanover Shoe Farms at the Harrisburg, PA yearling auction.

Pelling said after the race that he has "strong intentions" of racing Rocknroll Hanover in the Holmes Stake on Hambletonian Day (August 6) at The Meadowlands.

Bob McIntosh, who trains Stonebridge Regal, said his colt will get almost two months of rest before returning to action in the Jug Preview on September 10 at Scioto Downs. McIntosh said plans call for Stonebridge Regal to race in the Little Brown Jug, Lexington and the Breeders Crown. He has 2005 winnings of $582,000 on 10 victories in 15 starts. He defeated Rocknroll Hanover in a Meadowlands Pace elimination.

The third future pool will be the weekend following the Adios Pace (August 18-21).
