The Little Brown Brown Society and the Delaware County Fair will host a private Pre-Jug party after the races on Wednesday, September 21. The party, by invitation only, has been held in past years on Tuesday but is being moved to Wednesday to accommodate more owners, trainers and drivers, said Phil Terry, marketing director for the Little Brown Jug.

The party is being hosted by the Delaware County Bank and Trust and the USTA/HTA Members Benefits. There will be live and silent auctions to benefit New Vocations, Racehorse Adoption Program and the Delaware County Fair as part of the evening's events.

New Vocations acts as a safety net for retired racehorses assisting in their transition to pleasure mounts and placing them into qualified homes. Donations of stallion breedings, art, memorabilia, vacation packages and unique gifts or services, as well as table sponsors, are being solicited. If you wish to donate to the auction please contact Dot Morgan at New Vocations at (937)947-4020 or e-mail dot@horseadoption.com or dot@horseadoption.com; Phil Terry at (740) 363-3754; or e-mail pterry@littlebrownjug.com.
