Chotat Milk Early Favorite In $332.650 Jugette Filly Pace

Delaware, OH--Multiple stakes winner Chotat Milk, trained by Ohio native Virgil Morgan, Jr., is the early favorite to win next Wednesday's $332,650 Jugette 3YO Filly Pace at the Delaware, Ohio County Fair. Nineteen fillies were entered and will race in two eliminations of the 35th Jugette.
Just Wait Kate (3-1) and Thereal Ideal (9/2) are the early picks in the first elimination and Chotat Milk (2-1) and Ifyoucouldcwhati C (9/2) are favored the second elimination. The 2005 Jugette is the second richest in history.
Chotat Milk comes into the Jugette with five victories in nine starts and earnings of $326,723 in 2005. David Miller, who drove No Pan Intended to victory in the 2003 Little Brown Jug, will drive for owners Jay Corey of Morgantown, WVA, David Haberger of Salem, Ohio, and Morgan, from Grove City Ohio. Among Chotat Milk's victories was the $357,000 Mistletoe Shallee Pace and $52,333 Adioo Volo. The Jate Lobell filly's fastest time of 1:51 came in the Mistletoe
Shallee.
Ifyoucouldcwhati C, trained by William Elliott and driven by Luc Ouellette, won last week's Simcoe Stake in 1:51.4 at Mohawk Raceway.
Just Wait Kate has five wins in eight starts this season including victories in the Tarport Hap and elimination of the Mistletoe Shallee. Eric Ledford will drive the Real Artist filly.
Thereal Ideal, Western Ideal filly driven by Ron Pierce, paced to a career record of 1:52.1 in an elimination of the Nadia Lobell pace at the Red Mile.
Towner's Image (1993) and Eternal Camnation (2000) share the 1:52.3 Jugette stakes record.
