AUTHENTIC LITTLE BROWN JUG SADDLE PADS TO
BE OFFERED FOR SALE AND BY SILENT AUCTION
The Delaware County Fair and the Little Brown Jug Society have announced that one of a kind saddle pads of many of the past Jug Winners since 1976 will be offered for sale during the upcoming Grand Circuit Meet at Delaware, Ohio.
The saddle pads are authentic to the ones worn by the winning horses and are signed by the winning driver of each horse. Each saddle pad has a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Tom Thomson, president of the Little Brown Jug Society and Kent Hastings, president of the Delaware County Fair.
There is only one such saddle pad for each Jug winner. ALL saddle pads include a hand painted plaque of the name of the horse and year inserted in the sleeve of the saddle pad.
These saddle pads will be offered for sale in a location between the east entrance to the grandstand and the pavilion on Wednesday, September 22nd and Thursday, September 23rd only. Prices start at $200.00.
There will be a silent auction of four individual Jug saddle pads conducted in the pavilion on Thursday, September 24th. The first is an authentic Jug saddle pad signed by the owner, trainer and driver of the 2003 Little Brown Jug winner, No Pan Intended, and will include a 16”x20” framed color print of the winning horse.
Also being offered in the silent auction are signed Jug saddle pads and signed pictures of three of the most successful winning drivers of the Little Brown Jug and Little Brown Jug Wall of Fame Honorees John Campbell, Michel LaChance and William O’Donnell.
