Total Truth, Feelin Friskie & Jereme’s Jet Morning Line
Favorites In Second Little Brown Jug
® Future Wagering Pool

Delaware, OH--Total Truth, Feelin Friskie and Jereme’s Jet are the morning line favorites for the second Little Brown Jug
® future wagering pool which will get underway at noon, Thursday, July 20 at racetracks and internet sites throughout North America and Europe.

North America Cup and Hoosier Cup winner Total Truth, who finished eighth in the Meadowlands Pace, is the 7/2 favorite in the morning line.  North America Cup runner-up Feelin Friskie, who did not race in the Meadowlands Pace, is the second choice at 4-1 while Jereme’s Jet, the reigning two-year-old champion, moved to 9/2 following his 1:50.4 victory in the $100,000 Meadowlands Pace Consolation.

Future wagering will be offered for a period of four days, through 11:30 p.m. Sunday, July 23.  The future wager allows racing fans to bet early on all three-year-olds who are eligible to the Little Brown Jug
®.  The minimum bet is $2.00 and all future Jug wagers are for “win” only.

The pool consists of 23 separate betting entries plus the field.  Every three-year-old pacer in North America is included in the field because if a colt wins the first leg of the Triple Crown, the Cane Pace, he can be supplemented into the Little Brown Jug.  the field is 5-1 in the morning line.

Meadowlands Pace winner Artistic Fella, who has earned $870,310 this season, is in the field.  Trainer Steve Elliott said owner Joseph Alborano plans to supplement Artistic Fella into the Cane Pace so that he can be supplemented into the Jug. The Cane Pace eliminations are August 26 at Freehold Raceway.  “It is my dream to win that race,” said Elliott, who trained Souffle who finished third to Barberry Spur in the 1986 Jug.  Artistic Fella’s next start will be in the Oliver Wendell Holmes on Saturday, August 5 at The Meadowlands.

Phil Terry, director of marketing for the Delaware County Fair, assembled a panel of analysts who have selected this group of 23 colts.  Each colt was then assigned odds based on the selection order.

P-Forty Seven,  the 2005 Little Brown jug winner, paid $377.80 in the first future pool, $22.40 for the second, and $43.20 in the third pool.

Past performances will be available Wednesday morning at all of the regular sites and on line at www.littlebrownjug.com.
