Nursing Home Residents To Be Guests
Of Delaware County Fair Monday & Tuesday

One-hundred Delaware County nursing home residents will watch harness racing Monday and Tuesday afternoons as guests of the Delaware County Fair thanks to John Cross, staking office manager for the fair.

“I noticed that few people used the track side bleachers on Monday and Tuesday so I went to Tom Wright (race secretary) and he said for me to contact the homes. Fair officials are making the bleachers inside the Hospitality Pavilion available both afternoons,” said Cross. The Hospitality Pavilion is located on the first turn.

The visitors are from Arbors, Willowbrook, Delaware Court, Sunny Vee, Wintersong and Country View nursing homes.
