Kris Jordan, a Republican who represented Delaware County in Ohio’s House of Representatives, has died. Jordan, of Ostrander, was serving his third term as state representative for Ohio’s 60th District. He previously spent eight years in the Ohio Senate. A lifelong resident of Delaware County, Jordan was elected to his first term as a county commissioner at the age of 25. He went on to become a state representative in 2008. Jordan was an Ohio State University graduate and an active member of the National Rifle Association, Delaware County Right to Life and the Delaware County Farm Bureau.
As word of his passing spread Saturday, Jordan’s friends and colleagues offered tributes to his memory. Jordan grew up in the Delaware 4H program and was a strong supporter of the Delaware County Fair.
